SanGao's Outdoor Gas Circuit Breaker provides customers with a comprehensive range of ANSI and IEC standard designs, as well as the latest developments in switch technology, including SF6 gas or vacuum interruption, magnetic or spring mechanisms, live or dead cans, commonly known as doghouse or kiosk designs, allowing for grid optimization and smart grid applications.
The breakdown of SF6 gas will not cause current chopping or overvoltage.
These characteristics ensure the long electrical life of the circuit breaker and limit the dynamic, DC, and thermal stresses on the device.
The GSH (MH) type energy storage and free release mechanical operating mechanism allows for opening and closing operations through local and remote control.
The activation kinematics of the operating mechanism, moving contacts, and anti condensation heater are located within a sealed metal casing, which also serves as a support for the electrodes.
The above structure is supported by a frame made of stretchable metal parts, which allows the height of the circuit breaker terminals to be adjusted from 2800mm to 3700mm.
The protection level of the metal casing is IP 54 (*), and it is equipped with a sealed door with an inspection window.
The shell is made of steel plate and provides sufficient surface protection through special metallization and painting processes. The supporting structure has undergone hot-dip galvanizing treatment.
Outdoor Gas Circuit Breaker is used for power distribution, for controlling and protecting circuits, as well as for controlling and protecting transformers, rectifiers, capacitor banks, etc.
Due to SF6 automatic buffering circuit breaker technology, outdoor gas circuit breakers do not generate overvoltage during the switching process, making them very suitable for retrofitting, upgrading, and expanding old devices, as the insulation materials of cables and equipment may have been subjected to stress during use.
