AC Load Breaker Switch

The Sangao High Quality AC Load Breaker Switch uses a vacuum arc extinguishing chamber. Its characteristics are reliable operation, long electrical life, easy maintenance, and the ability to frequently connect and disconnect power supply. The operating mechanism is located inside the switchgear and integrates the isolation switch, load switch, and grounding switch. It is compact in size and lightweight. As the name suggests, if any dangerous abnormal current, voltage, or temperature is detected in the circuit, the circuit breaker will disconnect the circuit and stop the current.

Product Description

The China Sangao AC Load Breaker Switch is an essential safety device for any equipment or network that has current passing through it. Usually, in industrial environments, current is divided into multiple circuits through a circuit breaker box. Each circuit will be connected in series with a circuit breaker to act immediately upon detecting an abnormality, without the need for any intermediate systems. If there is no circuit breaker, there may be risks of fire, smoke, equipment damage, and electric shock.

Function

AC Load Breaker Switch is a manual or electric multi pole load switch.

They connect and disconnect under load conditions and provide safe isolation.

The AC Load Breaker Switch is designed for extreme applications up to 690 VAC - AC 23.

The isolation gap is connected in series with the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber. Larger dynamic and thermal stability currents, as well as interrelated programs, ensure operational continuity. The busbar and load switch are completely isolated by conical fixed contacts, insulation covers, and valves. Vacuum circuit breakers, grounding switches, valves, and cabinet doors are interlocked with "five prevention" to prevent misoperation. The spring energy storage operating mechanism can be independently operated manually or electrically, achieving remote control. The CO operation power supply can be an AC or DC power supply. Manual operation is usually located on the right side of the switch, but can be changed to the left or front according to user requirements.

Therefore, the basic function of an AC Load Breaker Switch is the same as that of a fuse, but unlike a fuse, the operation of the circuit breaker does not damage the fuse and can be subsequently reset. For example, circuit breakers can operate using energy storage provided by simple mechanical devices such as springs, or they can use the thermal or magnetic effects of overload current itself to disconnect their internal electrical connectors.

There are various types of circuit breakers on the market, and their characteristics vary depending on voltage, installation, external design, location, and switch mechanisms suitable for specific applications.

How to choose a circuit breaker?

When choosing a circuit breaker, many factors must be considered.

Firstly, the basic electrical characteristics of the equipment involved, such as:

Is it using alternating current or direct current.

The determining factor of voltage is the highest voltage that can be applied between any two conductors in the circuit.

The short-circuit current level of the triggering device protection equipment.

Other factors include the type of environment in which the equipment operates, such as ambient temperature. This will affect the type of junction box or protective device required to protect the circuit breaker from factors such as humidity, temperature, and dust.

There are various types of AC load breaker switches, one of the main differences being the use of dielectric materials (non dielectric materials in vacuum environments) to suppress any discharge encountered. These dielectric materials include air, vacuum, oil, or sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas. Each type of circuit breaker is suitable for specific applications:

Air for low-pressure applications

Vacuum is used for high-pressure applications

Oil is used for medium and high pressure applications

SF6 gas is the most widely used and widely used in most medium and high voltage applications because it has the following characteristics:

High dielectric strength

Thermal stability and conductivity

High density (about five times that of air)

inertia

Nontoxic

Can quickly recombine after the spark source stops

The steps of selecting a circuit breaker include determining the type of load. The key factor lies in whether the load is static or dynamic:

If the load is static, even at full power, its current consumption will not exceed the rated current.

If the load is dynamic, the current consumed by the device during startup may be higher than the rated current.

Static loads typically refer to heaters, while dynamic loads typically refer to motors or transformers.
